Adsense not showing up at all

I have a new site and I am using the Atahualpa theme. I installed the Advertising Manager plugin. No Adsense is showing at all. I tried installing the code directly into the html, and ads appeared at the bottom of the page for a few hours then vanished. I also tried many different Adsense plugins. My other sites using other themes are showing ads. Any ideas why the ads are not showing? I really wanted to give Atahualpa a good try, and dread the thought of changing to a new theme. As an aside, do you have a favorite Adsense optimized theme? I want to use plugins, not put code in myself. Thanks.

    Is your adsense running at other websites? Check with your manual codes or simply create a page and add adsense code to see whether it is working or not..

      yes, my other sites are fine. Now the code I inserted into the html is showing up, but at the bottom of the page. I just tried installing 2 other different themes and the same thing happened...no adsense. Why is the Advertising manager plugin not working?

    have you integrated the adsense code properly ? It seems a silly advice but I faced this issue before due to false integration. It seems strange that you saw adsense on your website for few hours and then it vanished... I never experienced it.

    As your website is a new one (you told) ,there won't be any adsense ban for the domain name.

    If adsense works for you every where else there might be something up with the particular plugin you are using. I prefer to manually code adsense. Try manually coding it into your theme if it is an option. Otherwise contact the maker for support or help.

      Hi
      I just had a similar problem and it was a conflict between a plugin called "compress html" so if you have that one try and disable it. Maybe if not this plugin if you have any others that change or use html it can cause problems in posts with html in them. One which makes the sidebar widgets go to the bottom of the page. The fix for that one is to go to settings>writing>check "WordPress should correct invalidly nested XHTML automatically" and then go through each post until you find the wrong one wp will correct it. Maybe it's not that one but try and remove anything that mess with the html of wp.

    Thanks for all the great replies. I deleted all the plugins and gave a new plugin a chance, Easy Adsense, and it worked. I have no idea why the others did not, but I now have ads. Thank you all for this. Also, Google Chrome shows no ads still but FireFox does. I tried clearing my cache and history. Strange.

      I use plugins because I do not have the knowledge needed yet to add my own code. I can put up websites but learning this has been challenging.

    Sorry for replying to this old post, but here's the solution.
    The problem is with the CSS and javascripts interfering with each other. Some browsers can fix it themselves, but not all...

    Just turn off the ALLOW DEBUGGING feature in the Atahualpa theme options Configure CSS and JS page at the bottom. It works...
