I have UAW sending articles to my site just for consistent fresh content and extra traffic (possible Adsense clicks). My site was at # 6 for a while, suddenly jumped to #3 for a day, and now it's bombed all the way to page 5-8 for the past few days. I've been link building the whole time but I didn't expect to just drop like a rock with no rebound like I usually have.

@valdivz It can be because you may have build the links a bit quickly followed by no links for days. The links need to keep coming on consistent basis to maintain the rankings.

That means, you have someone target at same keywords

trying to out rank you...

Just resubmit fresh content to the network...
start building other links as well....


Most my Clients enjoy the benefit of stay on top of google...because they learn how to build it the right way...

Don't forget that you are not the only one trying to rank for that keyword and probaly other web masters are into link building.

I didn't understand from you if you stopped building links to the site, and if you did, than that is probably the main reason for the drop. After getting to the number one position you must continue to build links in order to maintain it.

I personally have found a lot less value from UAW wizard in just about every niche.

In my opinion its just too obvious in how it deals with content syndication, and the footprints of each article are pretty easy to detect.

Using it properly takes a hell of a lot of time, I had 12 full time VA's using it for testing on just over 150 sites for the last 8 months...

I can't give you a "go for it, thumbs up"....


If others have better luck with it, I wish you well, but in my opinion the monthly cost is super cheap, the time wasted not even close....

Please consider that some of the links will drop off or some will get deleted and this can turn about a decrease in rankings!

Make sure that when you build the articles, that you are varying the anchor text. I think when you do this and have many different anchor texts, you should see more stability.

And diversify your link building strategies, don't just depend on UAW, try using other tools such as bookmarking demon, scrapebox, etc. It should help you out in the end.

Does the Google dance all the time, I have no idea why. It was ranked 15 overall for a pretty competitive keyword (outranking pr 5 & 6 websites!), but it does the Google dance and goes down to 300TH overall!

It's crazy, but make sure that you are continuously trying to keep the content on your website fresh, and don't be afraid to comment on that specific post to keep fresh updated content!

With a new site, like up to a year old in my experience things like that can happen with no apparent reason. Your site should return to normal in a while. I usually just work on something else in the meantime.

I use UAW, but not exclusively when it comes to building my backlinks. If you want stable rankings here is the formula I use. Works every time.

When starting a backlinking campaign (this only works really well if your site is at least 3 months old) I will set up backlinks from the following sources AT THE SAME TIME (SESSION).

1.UAW- 50 per day (backlink anchor text is 2/3 Primary keyword and 1/3 URL backlink)

2.Software Backlinks- I create a piece of software (screensaver, toolbar, chmod calculator) and use Promosoft to submit it to about 600 high PR software directories. Primary keyword only.

3.Social Bookmarking - Submit the site to a few social bookmarking sites - I vary the backlink anchor text so it looks natural.

4.Blog Network- I subscribe to John Ledgers 1WayLinks network. I'll set up blog posts that will go out at an average of 3 per day and do a total of 12 posts. I WILL vary the backlink anchor text on my posts. And all posts are spun.

5. Backlink Philippines- I will outsource high PR forum backlinks to this company. I will order 40 backlinks with my primary anchor text. Cost is $16. (Note: you can add up to 5 url's per profile so you can promote 5 different websites at a time) They also will ping your profile backlinks for you.

So in summary-- If you're only using UAW to build backlinks your rankings will never hold steady or stay on top of page 1 of google. In order to get high rankings, you must build backlinks from multiple sources (forums, social bookmarking, UAW- article directories, software directories and blogs) AT THE SAME TIME.

Dont just build one type at a time. By setting up all Types of backlinks AT THE SAME TIME you will be providing Google with a very NATURAL backlinking pattern and your site will rise up to the top of google and Stay There.

And with all the above sources I use my primary backlink anchortext about 80% of the time. And vary the other 20%.
