How do you test your PPC ads?

Question in title.

I read some people wait for 100 impressions then if the CTR is not at least 2% they adjust the ad. What do you think of that method.

Any one use googles ad innovations?

    Don't just sit around tweaking one ad! Create a lot of different ads and run them simultaneously, comparing their performance. The turn off all but the best. But you need to change them from time to time for the sake of novelty.
