Hi there,

for all of you with experience in article backlinking. I see a lot of backlinking done via e-zine and 90% if not more of the ones I came across were all 300-320 region. I tend to write my articles ( wether it ll be for content or for article to backlink around 500 words ).

Is there any significant difference in the power of the backlink ( lets presume the quality of content is equal ) ?

Thank you for your comments.

Sincerely, delosense

If you were comparing 300 words to 1000+ I would say you need to adjust. But 300-500 you should be good with 2-3 time keyword appearance with a couple lsi's sprinkled in.

I was reffering to : Does it make a difference if I make 300 word articles or 500 word articles. For backlinking purposes of course. The content (money) pages will have the more content the better.

Yes, it does: your anchor text can be longer with longer articles.

Here is a quick excerpt form their editorial guidelines:

Please limit your anchor text link length to 3 words in an article that is less than 400 words and 5 words in anchor text if your article is more than 400 words.
