If I Change Wordpress Settings My Rankings Will Be Hurt?

Ok. I want to set a default static page as my homepage in my Wordpress blogs to use them mainly for lead capture. Right now they are on the default settings, showing the latest posts on homepage. Will my change hurt my rankings?

      really? Have you experienced that? So I can change my settings without any worries?

    As long as your on site tagging is properly set up (which All-in-one-SEO, Platinum SEO and numerous others will help with) you won't lose out.

    Just one thing to bear in mind, though, is that if you're thinking of using Adwords to drive traffic to your lead capture page you'll have a tough time. Adwords is currently trashing lead-capture pages, especially if they're for Internet Marketing or Weight-loss products.
