Hey guys. I read some real good stuff here in this forum and I want to ask for some help now.
I made my first website some weeks ago and now I am sitting at the 5th position in google. That sounds quite good but it was my first site so I went for a low paying keyword with 9k exact match searches.
My current situation (screen of MarketSamurai and I don't know why I am the guy at #4 while I am in google at #5):

The shown backlinks for the sites at #1-4 are all shown as PR0.
My first question is do you think I can outrank the 3 guys shown above? These are all shops and I am the only infopage in the top 8.

the second thing is my conversation. the website is made for adsense because I just started and wanted to try out who this business works to get some bucks to start something big. I am getting around 5-10 new visitors a day but only 1-2 clicks per week. And while this keyword is low paying ( this means 0.20$/click ) my earnings are quite bad (last month I got 1$ -.-). Again I know IM is no overnight money but I think there should be more then 1$/month in it.
This is how my website looks like when you enter it:
click here because I don't know how to fit the image here
It is actually made with wordpress with some changes made by me to suit it. There is another Adsenseblock and the bottom of the page and it looks the same as this one.
So have you any tips or advices you can give me to get a better CTR?

(P.S.: Something about my keyword. It is in the biking niche and it is a important part of a bike)
I am looking forward to some ideas.

thank you. I bookmarked my site, wrote some articles, submitted them to the major 6-7 directories, bookmarked the links. Later on I started to ping the links, build some hubpages, etc. some days ago I made 2 videos and posted them on youtube and my website. Ofc the videos were related to my keyword.

I think you are placing too many ads on your site in the one spot; people are being hit in the face with advertising and this doesn't always work. If they are after content they will just scroll down to where it starts.

I usually have more success by having the units embeded (wrapped) in content. I would get rid of the top-left skyscraper and just leave it with a 336x280 ad unit; have the content wrapping it on the right hand side.

I would then place another unit after the content (not wrapped). People are looking for where to go next after reading an article so have some text ads at the bottom gives them an option. I have had good boosts by doing this on pretty much all of my sites.

I like the idea of the Link unit in the right hand column. Make sure it blends with the other links in the sidebar.

thanks. My question now is how to embed the adsenseunit into the content. I thought this should work with a
      <div style="float: left;"> AdUnit </div> "content"
but this doesn't work. any other tips? Or am I doing something wrong?

Ok now it works. I had a problem with the " and now I fixed it. I also changed the links in the Sidebar to be underlined and the AdLinks in the Sidebar are now white.
    Here is an Update:

(I figured out how to get a smal preview here )

    More tips?

I think that will do much better. You can also try having a paragraph of content before you insert the 300x250 ads.
