I've been using this backlink checker.

Backlink Checker


Does anyone know if this thing is accurate at all. If not, what IS accurate...even if I have to pay for it.

    I like to use backlinkwatch - But, from what I can see, MOST of them pull their info from the same sources...so, from tool to tool, I'm not sure what kind of different results you are going to see.

    Personally I dont use any backlink checker that uses the soon to be dead Yahoo API, I have never regretted LinkScape or its newer better looking brother open site explorer.

    If you have to get really deep and dirty you can look into Majestics product.

    I use SEO Spyglass (by link-assistant.com), which in my experience is by far the best. SEO SpyGlass Backlink Checker Software: X-Ray Your Competition. The paid version pulls from about every backlinks database there is to get you the most broad background as you can.

    BUT, no matter what you use, you will be limited to pulling 1000 links per page from Yahoo.
