What is a PLR article?

Anyone can explain what is a PLR article to me:confused:

    PLR stands for private label rights. What this means is similar to how big manufacturers sell private labeling rights to your local supermarket - that's how stores have their own "brand" of various products. Store brand ketchup, for example, is likely made by either Hunts or Heinz, but labeled with the store's private label.

    When you have a PLR article, it's an article that you are allowed to put YOUR brand on - put your name as author, edit, change or add to the material and use it on your website as if you wrote it.

        Yes. You're right. But you need to check the license before using it.

        With unrestricted PLR you can do whatever you want.. The editing and distribution depends on the license of the PLR you have!

            Yes, when you buy PLR of any sort there will be a license. Unrestricted lets you do whatever you want but the best quality stuff will have some restrictions. Just make sure to change it up quite a bit if you're going to use unrestricted PLR on your website because you will usually find that it's all over the web. You should make it at least somewhat unique for your site.

    Definitely check the license before you use the article. Some people misuse the term PLR. I've seen people call an article a PLR article, but then when I got the articles there were all sorts of restrictions placed on the article. Make sure you know what you are getting before you buy any PLR articles. If possible, ask the person selling the articles what kind of rights are included before you buy the articles.
