Do redirects pass link juice?

Just curious if redirecting has any impact on pages passing link jiuce to the redirected page? For instance, if you use a meta redirect to get to another page, which page get the link juice, the page with the meta redirect or the final page?

    I think if you are using a permanent re-direct in your .htaccess file, then the destination page gets the G juice.

    The page you link to gets the link juice. So if you're linking to a redirect page, that redirect page is getting the link juice. Which obviously doesn't make any sense from an SEO standpoint.

    If the link juice is important to the page being redirected to, then instead point to the page you're redirecting to bypassing the redirect all together. If you have reasons for not wanting to do that, then save the link juice for another page, add a "nofollow" to the link heading off to the redirect page.

      I'm trying an experiment and so far it seems to be working. A site has moved from #1 spot on page 2 to #9 spot on Page 1 over a day. I'll continue the experiment and increase the linking to see if it makes a difference.

    I am using redirect tracking software to track my article, but when google update its' stat, my landing page got page rank!

    I am sure redirect did pass the page rank!
