I have 3 of my sites de-indexed from Google about 17 days ago.

Today, one of the site (which I believe I built links too fast to it) is back on page one of Google, the other 2 still nowhere to be found. I have not done anything to get that one site back, no link building or anything like that.

So for those that are in similar situation, don't worry. We never know what Google will do but keep checking, your site may mysteriously be back again.

It's the occasional Google dance and it happens alot.

    Just learn to accept it.

Yes, The Google Dance has an effect on just about all sites once you start to build backlinks. I have also had sites that go away and come back several days later with a better SERP than before. As stated above it is something to get used to.

Just as a side note: You were/are probably not deindexed, but just sandboxed or in the google dance (nobody can really tell if there is a difference). Deindexing is normally permanent and only happens in really rare and very bad cases. Sandboxed sites usually show up again after a few days/weeks/months.

You can check if your site got deindexed by doing a google search for "site:yoursite.com"
If it returns your site, you're good. If not, just get a new domain and transfer all the content over.

I guess, a lot of people experienced similar things in the past couple weeks. One of my sites was ranking #2 for my keyword and now I cannot see it in the first 100 results. Good thing that it is not deindexed. I will update it and build some more backlinks again and see if it will come back.
