How to make a site which gets at least 100 page views a day?

That's my target - at least $10 a day passive income

I have been trying to build adsense websites which are around travel and hotels niche.

I dig deep into regional niches so that they can rank well.. Till now i am not able to get any substantial success with it though.

I am one army man. I build websites. Write content on them. And promote it online. I want to reach up to a level of making $10 a day as passive income.

Can you suggest? a criteria or a process i should follow?

- How much should be the compeition in google
- what's a good PPC amt
- How much should be minium number of searches. Should i go for phrase broad or exact? (in the google keyword tool?)

IMHO, you cannot figure out the exact numbers of searches and CPC for a good revenue. You have to think about the Clicking Crowd. Whatever niche you're in, select the keywords which will receive clicks. Thats the key to success with Adsense!

I disagree Aryan. Sure, you should avoid certain niches but most are still very likely to click and AdSense ad.

AdSense is still very much a traffic game. To get 100 page views / day you would need enough keywords where you rank #1 to total at least 200 searches per day.

Only rank at #2 and the required searches sky rockets to something like 800/day.

You don't need a lot of content to get there, just wise selection.

Even though you are digging deep into the niche (which is wise), you must make sure the keywords you are targeting still get plenty of searches. You need to make sure the competition is weak too. There is no point chasing a keyword if the top 10 are strong. Look for competition pages with low PR and low backlinks to the page. I like it when the pages have a PR < 3 and BLP < 20.

Check the average CPC for your keywords using the Google Keyword Tool and sites like Spyfu.com. You want to make sure AdWords advertisers are paying plenty ($2+).

Be selective. Keep looking until you find gold. It is better to spend more time preparing than spending resource on building links and content for a keyword that is too tough. The tough keywords can be smashed down the track when your site has built up its authority.
