I have been article marketing and building squidoo pages to build traffic and back links to my sites, but now I want more! Don't we all, I know.

What other steps should I be taking to build traffic and also increase the number of links back to my sites?

Thanks.

You can also try searching for those busy communities and observe if you can have your links posted in there for free. If you can do this, there is a greater chance that your site's traffic will increase. Remember, the more your links are visible to the community, the more people will notice and click it, and that's traffic for you.

Keep finding long tail keywords with low search engine competition related to your niche and submit articles on those keywords. (as in with that word in the article title and in the article body)

Also, post pages to your website based on those keywords and link them together - doing this gives you the potential to get both pages ranked in the search engines for the same term, claim multiple search listings and boost your traffic alot.

The more keywords you do this for, the more traffic you get - simple.

If those pages don't get rankings with that alone, then start building links from other places. Build squidoo lenses on those keywords and link them back to your articles and your website pages. Build pages at other free sites like wikidot.com hubpages.com wetpaint.com and link them all together. Post pages to all of them targetting long tail keywords and claim as many search engine spots as you can handle!

I agree with this statement. In fact, stumbling too much may get you into trouble with adsense. The CTR may looks too fake and you can be generating too much traffic but is not relevant or genuine. If you need to stumble, the best way is not to stumble your own pages. Getting several other people to do it looks more natural.

Ive read that stumbleupon traffic can get you in trouble with Google. Of course its not been confirmed but its not worth the risk- especially since they hardly click on anything anyway.

Hi Bruha, I think you should also do blogging and just keep posting in the forum. People that you don't even know will be looking at your posts with your signature file and you will be amazed at how fast you will be getting the traffic you want. You could also contact other webmasters and exchange links. Thanks Dianne

IMHO, Active Participation in Niche Forums Discussions, posting relevant comments on high PR Niche Blogs and only bookmarking few high PR social sites plus increasing backlinks through posting more keyword rich articles at web 2.0 properties will boost significant traffic to your site in few days time.

I use linkvana to build valuable hands off one way links. It is expensive, but a tremendous asset to my business.

If anyone wants to try it out through my membership ($147/month) I'd be willing to a work a deal for them for a cheap trial.
