Folks,

Its been only 1 month that i bought Xfactor's Adsense Master course.

Wanted to ask, am i too late into this method? Is it already saturated? Any more Possiblity that it still works?

Reason am asking is, i am not able to find any Domian avaliable which has more than 1500 Searches Per month... :-(

Any Views?

Personally, I do think it is saturated and pretty much over.

There are always hot new niches coming up that you could catch if you're quick enough but if you're looking at older generic exact keyword domains there isn't much left with a decent search volume imho.

Some people are adding extra words onto the end of the domains e.g. if "best flat screen TV" isn't available, they'll get bestflatscreentvguide.com - however, there is debate as to whether this makes it harder to get all of the exact name benefits right away.

But it's not the domains that are the only problem with the course - it's the fact that so many people were taking shortcuts, putting up a few pages of bad content and expecting it to do well. Google came down pretty harshly on these kinds of site. For the best results, put a little effort into creating a few more pages for the sites.

      .
Persoanlly I have never had a problem ranking a domain without the keyword in it for any given keyword I target. I think people over estimate the worth of having the keyword in the domain. Just get some quality links with the right anchor text and you will be fine.

It is still working for me ... just think it has moved on.

You need to maybe dig a little deeper to find those keywords and probably want to change the template.

I just checked my adsense earnings and am still doing well

In the last 6 months there has been a movement that has bypassed this stuff. I still think you can make money doing it but google is cracking down on it. There are NO shortcuts.

Think in terms of building authority sites with great content !!

It's still possible to find good niches, and exact-match domains aren't a necessity. Although having said that, Google have tweaked their algorithm to make micro niche sites less effective ("Mayday update").

Plus John is (I think?) working on an updated course which focuses more on making larger, almost authority-type sites.

So yep, they still work, but it's harder. Plus - IMO - making larger sites which can start getting backlinks naturally makes more sense than making 1-5 page mini-sites.

Definitely yes, i am holding about 400++ sites, all focus on tight niches. That is not all after you built the site, dont treat it as set and forget type of sites, you have to update it periodically, and eventually build as a more general niche site.

Not to encourage you, but this method is still working, i have heard of somebody has started it 5 or 10 years ago. Myself started about 2-3 years ago inspired by a post by garry conn and one of its project eyeexamcoupons.org (the site has been sold eventually).

  • Thanks all for your personal experiences.

To update ya all, after my weeklong Niche Research, i was able to track down to some 10 Very nice low competition Niches, with high CPC payouts.

Infact, earlier my approach to research Niches was wrong, but now i can see, there are lot many niches still left with Exect Domain avaliable.

    So its a Good Sign.

Sad to hear this new thing now that google is cracking down on such sites. I have few friends, who are still doing wonderful with this method and with just 4-5 pages site.

Now it makes me rather confused.

As long as it has quality content, a five page site won't get de-indexed by Google. Matt Cutts stated in a video on YouTube that a one page site is fine as long as it is of good quality and provides some sort of value to visitors.

However, to be safe and to keep the site ranking well, it's best to keep adding content and to keep building quality backlinks. Research the product and read reviews to get ideas for more articles. Write the articles in a way that helps someone rather than turning them away.

I think the majority of supposed 'MFA' sites don't provide good value to visitors or may have violated something in Google's adsense TOS and that's why they get slapped. Look at this site as an example:

      4 slice toaster

The writing is terrible and doesn't provide any real valuable information other than giving a simple and hard to understand description that's helps no one. With a better theme, more content and much better writing, one could make this site into something more valuable for the visitor than just "click on this ad for more info."

They still work, but like anything you can build them to work for long term or short term.

Business essential use them as well. Take a look at all those As Seen On TV products: Grill Glove, 4 Seasons Wine, Snuggie, AirClimber, HeelTastic, PottyPatch..... all these sites are really is mini sites promoting one product.....

Saturation is a problem. More often than not keyword research is the larger problem. While not "Leaving your comfort zone" is the biggest issue.

I continue to escalate my earnings with micro-niche-sites but have long since abandoned all but a few principles in his course - and his course was my first introduction to adsense overall.

Like with most things, these "Cookie Cutter" strategies become "Cut to fit" over time and either you have a pair of scissors, or your don't.

Scissors... hum, never did keyword research for them....

They still work. However, you just need to keep adding content and build backlinks. You have to be relentless in the research phase, however.

They still work fine. I make money with them using adsense or cpa offers. It really all depends. Some are duds but some are gems. I just make several and hope a few catch...

Dont listen to anybpdy that tells you what google is doing..

      Simply because they dont know!!

If It were the case, then my sites would be positioned at 3 or 4 but instead im on NO.1 with a small 5 page site competing with company's that are actually selling the product

No one knows what google is doing or thinking of doing.. You guys are all speculating, and then the people reading your BS believe it.

Micro sites are FINE!!! and i think no were near saturated if you dig deep.

I have a site with ONLY 40 views per day with .50c p/c on average.. its not much but its something.. You dont ALWAYS have to go for those highly searched phrases with high paying KW's.. dont be limited to that!! (or on the other hand, forget what i just said so u guys dont steal all the good domains :p )

no this method won't die until exact domains are given less preference in the SERPS... there are always new keywords popping up, but you might want to think about using better tools if you're having problems.

It is not really saturated because 80% of people out there are not putting enough work into the method. Tell me, how many sites do you see have a 5-page content that does not make sense to the reader? This is especially true for the navigation.

Even if they have the EMDs, most people say you can beat them with persistent backlinking and content every week. This can definitely work if the competition for page 1 is weak.
