I need to know how to get multiple webpages from the same website indexed onto the first page of Google. Does anybody know how to do this? Here is an example of one business who did this:

Just type in the following keyword phrase into Google and look at the results:

Suddarth and Koor LLC

The first 8 positions in Google are all from their website....just different pages. Is this possible? Please let me know how this can be achieved.

*Note - Please don't say the reason is because there is no competition for the keyword phrase so Google indexes all pages from the same website because this is clearly not true since I can Google hundreds of businesses a day and only 4 of them will have results like these showing up in Google.

I can only see them getting two results but it is the name of their website, if you have a unique domain name and you type in the exact domain I would have thought you would get allot of results!

Google only gives you two results per search, EVER, unless you have a sub domain such as blog.site.com in which case you could get four results as Google would see it as two different sites.

I see 8 results of the same website:

      Their main url
      Attorneys page
      Specific Attorneys page
      Specific Attorneys page
      Criminal defense page
      family law divorce page
      Dwi page
      Injury page

The list I just created above is all from the same domain name just different pages.

Here is a copy and paste of the first page of search results I see on my computer:

This is not true. Google's recent change to its algorithm allows it to rank multiple pages of a website (whereas it previously only ranked 2 pages at most), but this is a new change, however, and per Google, really only applies "for queries that indicate a strong user interest in a particular domain..." which seems to be the case for the OP. I am in the US and see 7 different pages from the one site as you do.

So, you are the victim of this new change. If someone is searching for what Google deems as a very specific search toward a particular website, it will list up to 7 pages. To answer your question then, you can get up to 7 pages of your website listed if the search query is specific enough - domain in the search, for example.

I wrote a blog post about this a couple weeks ago. For a general search term, Google will only allow 2 pages from one site to be listed. "north american museums" for example, will never list more than 2 pages from one website, but "exhibitions at amnh" will list the full 7 as was used by Google as an example.

Interesting algorithm change. Not crazy about it, but we'll have to wait and see how it plays out.

Have you seen this change in action? I have a site where I get more than on result but it occurs as two results then a link below asking if you want to 'show more listings for site.com', if you have seen it as normal results then I am wrong but I have not seen ANY site results like this but have seen recently one of my sites showing results in the way I explained?

Edit: Look at your screenshot, see the link below the first result! You have to click the link to get the results, they do not just appear!

So do the links need to be from sites of high authority or can you link back to your website from blogs and articles to achieve this result?

This site has only got all these results because they are the most relevent. I see the 'other results' now but you have to clikc the link.

Make your site as relevent for the keyword 'Suddarth and Koor LLC' and youll be there! lol

And also your screenshot says 'only 3 results left' which is not true as the scroll bar still has some way to go which would reveal the rest of the 4 or so results.

I didnt get those results on .co.uk ot .com, im in the UK maybe that makes a difference but who knows?

Its due to the domain name as someone searching for that exact term would more than likely be searching for that site!

If you can show me another example of a site which has more than two results for a term which many sites go after then I am wrong.

    Hiya,
I cant see the pages, but I can see some (I am not US based)

It does have something to do with little competition becase it if it was more competitive, it would work as well

The key is to build incoming links to the sub pages, also if the subpage have PR (which can be achieved by getting links and waiting for PR to Grow)

The simple option is to volume or articles- this is start of what I do for my SEO clients- not seo some much as old fashioned article marketing -

Outline is here: One thing That Actually Works to Rank your Website | Paul Easton

(you would link to home page and subpages or even just the subpages)

I use another service, its paid but a boosted- drop me a PM for that one

      Hello 32paul52,

Do the links going back to the subpages need to be of high quality or can they be from blogs and articles you create for your clients?

What you said makes sense because when I looked up PR for their subpages they all had PR 2.

When I did a backlink check on their subpages and all their links are coming from internal links and the allintitle is only 2.

Not sure what you are referring to here. There are links below the first result, sure. Not sure what that has to do with my comment to the OP. There are 7 results for the search term. They do appear.

Next, don't know what you are getting at here, either. The screen shot in my post shows exactly 10 search results, 7 from one site and 3 from elsewhere, verifying my original comment to the OP. As you know, Google only gives you 10 results per page so even if you could scroll down, there would be no more to see. There are no "4 or more results" my friend. Really, I'm not making any of this up, nor do I have motivation to do so. I will never speculate on Google's algorithm. I only take what I read and research, right from the horse's mouth.

Now, back to the OP, you can find Google's explanation here for ranking more than 2 pages per domain in search results. They use the same example I have.

    Regards,
    Dino

Oh, by the way Marky12345, the recent Google change that I refer to may have only occurred in the US and you may not see it in the UK. You may, indeed, only ever see 2 pages at the most per domain in any given search as you say, regardless of the specific query. This may be the case in your area of the world. I may have read that somewhere, but I can't be sure. :-)

This is a two year old post but does this/these rules still apply today? I ranked number one organically for San Diego Auto Detailing, but then my ranked got put into google local thus removing my organic listing. So my mission now is to get one of my other pages to climb that charts and grab the organic spot. Can this be done? And is it better to show up on the map listings or the organic listings????
