Keyword Software

Having spent all day doing keyword research, here is my wishlist for a piece of keyword software (just in case any developers are looking in):

- Can take a basic keyword and come up with genuinely related keywords (I want quality not quantity)

- Can allow greater than/less than filters for things such as search volumes

- Can use search terms such as inurl: intitle: etc. within the filter system

- Can cope with multiple search engines (including Google.co.uk etc.)

- Can show competitor activity for those keywords, including number of backlinks or better still, the type/source of backlinks

Of course, if there is already a piece of software that does all (or most) the above, I would love someone to post and let me know about it.

    Market Samurai and Microniche Finder 5 both can provide the information your looking for, I use both. MNF5 to do the initial keyword search, domain availability and MS to look at SEO competition. Although MNF5 does look at competition, MS provides much more comprehensive data.

    Thanks for the recommendation. I bought MNF5 and it pretty much does everything I wanted. I still need to do some extra competition analysis like you said and I also need to do a bit of extra work to find those powerful longtail keywords but MNF5 has taken away much of the pain and legwork. A seriously underrated piece of software compared to a lot of the other stuff out there.

    I'm using MNF5 & still consider to buy Market samurai...
    But sometimes confused how to choose the right keyword.
    Not to sure either I did wrongly or something goes wrong.
