Which Is More Accurate - Market Samurai or Traffic Travis

Quick question on those two tools.

I was doing keyword research and MS says the competition is weak. Only 4% in the SEOTCR column. Yet TT says it is extremely difficult to rank for.

Another keyword term...

MS = 1%
TT = Very Difficult

When I manually did an allintitle:keyword search in Google there were only 6,760 results for the one kw and around 5,200 for the other kw.

Anyone know which one is more accurate? Seems MS is more accurate to me. Also, on another kw term TT says it's extremely difficult to rank and I know for a fact that it wouldn't be. The #2 spot in Google is terrible!! I know I could easily overtake it.

Thoughts on all of this?

Thank you.

    I think the results are there, right in front of your eyes. According to the research you have shown here, it looks like TT is showing inaccurate results.

    I have been using MS for over 2 years now and I have never been dissatisfied with MS.

        I've never put my trust in TT. MS has always worked good for me.

    If you can do the job yourself why rely on other tools?

      You don't need permission from a tool, if you know the #2 spot in Google is terrible and think you can overtake it, then go for it!

        In aspect of title competition i would trust Market Samurai. Buy the way, i use free version of Market Samurai with keyword research module, but if i need to look at top 10 or 20 i use Traffic Travis.

    I did a search on very competitive keyword: Market Samurai told me 6% SEOTCR column, meaning easy, this is very competitive keyword with sites in the top ten with 100,000's of links. A very hard keyword. A did a Travis analysis and it returned: Very Hard. Travis was right. This is not the first time that these tools contradict each other.

    I don't rely on tools but just use the Google external tool for an initial search ,then check the backlinks to each site in the top ten with the free Seobook tool. I then decide whether to go into a niche.

      I love MS but I use a combination of MS and the Google keyword tool to get the most accurate information. I have the paid version of MS. I use google to get the competition and the searches. Then use MS to get the number and quality of backlinks going into competitive sites.
