Dear All,

My blog is Blazetronics. This blog features reviews on gadgets. At the end of each review, there will be an option for the prospect to buy the discussed gadget in the review from Amazon.com. I have also placed Google AdSense ads on the blog.

I have approached Derek Thomas to do a keyword research for me on the niche mp3 players. There are about 200 keywords. As there are 200 keywords, it is impossible for me to buy each discussed gadget in the review and do a video review, so I stick to an on-page search engine optimized article review. I have included the keyword once in the title, once in the H1 tag, 5 times throughout the article; and once in the URL. For the off-page SEO, I hired a staff to help me build Angela's and Paul's backlinks.

I am very worried that my SEO and link building campaigns will not be successful. This is because Derek is known for finding keywords that have low competition and high search volume, yet the web pages still have not ranked on the first page of Google for their respective keywords. I have also been building backlinks for about a week. I need some help here. Please advise me on what I can do.

Regards,
Ken

I have waited for about a month +. Previously, I had a keyword called "Cheap Wiis". It has low competition and very high search volume. My blog was indexed for that keyword and ranked 3rd within 2 weeks. The keyword research then was done by the same Derek.

Actually, all my webpages have been indexed, but I am very surprised and worried because the pages can't even be found on page 10 of Google. Something wrong is going on?

I have a way to deal with the 200 keywords. I update my blog with 5 articles every Saturday.

Also why are you investing all of these resources on a blogspot site, you should consider getting an age domain in your niche. Just go over to godaddy and look in their Auction section for an aged domain. This will help with your seo, too.

And you should consider building an authority site for MP3 players by using the given keywords.

Also, are you using any type of SEO software like Senuke? That would really help you get some good ranking for your keywords.

Too late... I have already started building links to the blogspot site. Thought blogspot is free, so didn't invest in a domain name. But I guess blogspot sites can still rank, right?

Building an authority site for mp3 players seems cool, but isn't it better to focus on other gadgets once the 200 keywords are being used up?

      What is Senuke for?

My friend you never know Google's algorithm. I think you should wait as advised by others. You are building backlinks. It is ok, but which websites you are linking? Get backlinks from good PR (page rank) sites. Get backlinks from highly relative websites, then and then only it will work for your google indexing.

They are Angel's and Paul's backlinks. Basically, they are high PR authority sites, and they let you can create a profile in their sites. From the profiles, I create an anchor text linking back to my web pages.

I am thinking of using press releases for short term SEO strategy. However, I do not know what to write for the press releases. Any idea how I should write them to promote my reviews?

Are you using exact keyword phrase into anchor text which you want your website should rank in Google? This is necessary. Reading your posts my impression is you are spending too much money on service. You can get high page rank links by just searchin page rank cheker. You can also search dofollow blogs for commenting. By commenting you can get quality backlink.

I am using the exact keyword phrase in the anchor text. If my web page is "Apple iPod", I used "Apple iPod" as the anchor text.

What do you mean when you say I am spending too much money on service?

I don't understand what you mean when you say I can get high PR links by just searching PR checker. Can you elaborate on that?

How can I search for dofollow blogs for commenting?

It's normal to see site serp ranking from zero to hero and then zero again. This happen with new sites when Google is determining your true position.

They may put your website in something called the Sandbox, where you will remain for some time and won't appear in serps.

Caution: Do NOT give away your Keywords openly. You may face increased competition

like Pradeep says: you can't tell what Google is up to.
My experience is somewhere between 10 days and a month to have a relatively stable position on page 1. Initially, every time you add links your site just bounces up and down.
So, don't worry about 1 week, that's perfectly normal.
the key is NOT to worry and just keep doing what you're doing.
and yes, spread those 5 posts out over the week, instead of all in one go.
use the wordpress scheduling feature, that way you put them all in on Saturday, but release them 1-by-1.

all the best (and the fact you seem to be doing this consistently suggests you will have lots of success!)

Here is a link to a pdf on PRWeb a press release website.

It will help you to write your press release in the correct format - very important or it will be rejected.
