Hey everyone,

My name is Cassandra (but call me Cass) and I joined the forum less than 2 weeks ago. I think the Warrior Forum is brilliant. The information I am discovering is extremely valuable and I read a great thread today on SEO

I started my internet marketing journey this year April 2010. However, I started to get really focused and take real action in July 2010. I've had my share of technical ups and downs and I'm now heading towards outsourcing my work, but still want to learn some of the fundamentals.

I've heard in the past that in business CASH IS KING!! and I am discovering FAST, that for me to succeed on the internet, I've got to accept that TRAFFIC IS KING!! However, I've discovered that you will be more profitable if you drive targeted traffic to a specific niche.

I personally like to think of 'traffic' as driving a community of like-minded people to a specific place to receive specific information. I think it is important not to forget that the 'traffic' going to a website are real people, with real lives who can potentially be real customers.

Traffic generation is not just a list of names and email addresses, but an asset to any online business! I believe if one has this mindset and attitude from the beginning, it will come across in how you treat their subscribers (i.e. building a rapport and relationship) and hopefully result in creating raving fan customers. This is just me expressing my point of view.

Anyhow, I did write this post with an intention in mind. There may be a few Warrior newbie's out there, like me, who are just starting a new internet business (be it creating your own product or doing affiliate marketing). You may want to drive insane amounts of traffic to your website, but have just not figured out the best strategies to implement yet! Like a simple A - Z internet traffic map. I am just learning about a few new ways of getting targeted traffic myself.

So the question is, if you could ask any Top Internet Marketing Guru - who is making MILLIONS online - a question on traffic what would it be? If you have any questions, please let me know and don't hold back. What traffic problems are you facing that you would like the answer too?

As a newbie, or even advance, you may be fed up of reading through pages of e-books and articles to find out how you can drive niche traffic to your product or affiliate offers.

Let me know what questions you have, and I will research who is willing to do an interview with me to get the answers. I will share the answers with you all to contribute towards your journey to success online, and yes, it will be for free.

Have a great day!

Cass

    I have a question!

I am researching different niches to build a medium sized website around. What kind of search numbers should I be looking for? I would like a niche that isn't super competitive, but with enough interest that it will be worth my time. So when I am doing keyword research, what kind of search numbers will work?

      Hey everyone,

Thank you so much for posting your replies back to me. It was the first thread post I've started on the Warrior Forum (in fact on any forum!) and it was a great feeling to get responses :0)

I have 27 really great traffic questions now (from different resources I have tapped into) from "What are the best proven ways of driving traffic to your website and why?", How can I use Face Book to increase massive amounts of traffic to my website” to "How many articles do I need to drive a sufficient amount of traffic to my site?" I am looking forward to collecting a few more questions and finding out who can answer these traffic questions in an audio interview.

I particularly want to thank Vincenzo for his remarks on CONTENT IS KING! I think the post is quite interesting and food for thought for newbie’s, like myself, starting internet marketing businesses. I definitely agree that content is crucial. So, the questions to ask are “How can you ensure your content is really great?” and “where are the most effective places to put this great, quality content with back links?”

Why do I ask these questions? Because you can have great content but if not one can find it; especially within cyber space, you're not going to make any sales if you are promoting affiliate offers or your own products. So, I’m going to concentrate on writing effective and valuable content with back links, which is targeted content, and also think about the various traffic resources available to drive target traffic. If there is a better suggestion, please feel free to let me know as I am starting out.

I will let you know when I have completed the audio interview (I have to find an expert now) and I will share the audio freely with you.

      Cass :0)

Traffic is NOT king on the internet. CONTENT is King! Without content there is no traffic and no internet and without LINKS there is no Web.

You want more traffic? Create more content, content with links to your site.
Search Engines love content, we love links, links create traffic.

It's a match made in heaven.

Ps. The better the quality and the more of the content the better the quality and the more of the traffic.

The question thogh is most have the mind set of "buidl it and they will come" You can have all the content in the world BUT if the engines dont see it what good is it. Like said link building does help and the basics are the starting point (social bookmarks, articles, blog post) and then for the big budgets PPC or adwords.

What about targeted traffic is king?

If I'm promoting a weight loss product with great content, it doesn't matter how many high school kids come to my website- they don't have credit cards!

But if I'm promoting a good mobile or download offer to those high school kids.... ka-ching!

Anyways, I'd want to know what most of the big guys are doing to get their traffic. I know there's all kinds of ways, but it seems like media buys and PPC are the way to go.
