Hi Guys,

I`m getting myself alittle confused about hosting companys and IP address`s, I have a few auto blogs and i am going to ramp it up with auto blogs and build quite a few more these next few months.

But i am worried about google finding 1 blog of mine it doesnt like and then finding the others so what i am looking at opening another hosting account somewhere, at the moment i have a baby host gator account with about 30 blogs on it but only 2 are auto blogs.

But what i dont understand is if i open another hosting account does this mean that my new blogs on this new accout will have different IP address`s to the ones on the baby hostgator account ?

jim

They will usually have the same IP address because you are buying shared hosting space from one provider. If you buy from a different provider then you will have a different IP address.

You will probably get a different IP addresses from different hosting providers.

You risk getting the same IP address if you stay with the same hosting provider, so it's probably better to get another provider.
Remember that Google has more than one way to link domains to each other, such as your Adsense publisher Id, Analytics id, domain registrations etc ..
