Hi Jeff, thanks for the reply, can you tell me how to do this in scrapebox? I currently use the OBL addon to check that, indexing and PR but haven't seen a way to dump a list of urls in there, add anchor text and urls to search for on each page. Let me know. Thanks

I missed the part of your OP where you mentioned anchor text...not sure how to do that with SB.

To check your links are existing in Sb, though:
-look in the Comment Poster section
-click the radio button for "Check Links"
-load your text list of website URL's to check for on the right where it says "Websites"
-load your text list of sites to check for your link under that where it says "Blog Lists."
-Click "Check Links" button at the bottom and it will run through the list.

If you were really worried about the anchor, I guess you could use the SEO Competition analysis module in Market Samurai since it has the ability to show the anchor text distribution of a site's backlinks. Just make a new keyword for your site's domain to get it to show up if you aren't in the top 10 for one of your keywords.

For anyone who doesn't have SB, the backlink checker is available for free as a standalone app. You can download it here: Free Link Checker - ScrapeBox

With Scrapebox, you upload the list with the URLs, enter the keyword and the URL (the ones you need to find as existing on those sites), and click on "check links" - takes a few seconds and you know your links are still there.

Hi Alex, thanks for the info but can you give me specifics on where I would enter the keyword and URL. I know how to import a list of URL's into the URL Harvester but still cannot find a way to add the keywords and URL's and I don't see a check links button at all. Please see my screenshot. Thanks

Sometimes when you are doing large scale operations of link checking it can be beneficial to roll your own. If you're doing 100 or less a day there are plenty of out of the box solutions.
