Why don't you ask "seotechman", I hear he is an SEO consultant in the UK?

    ...oh, wait that IS you.

This seems like a strange question for an SEO consultant to ask. Why would you advertise yourself as an SEO consultant if you don't even know a basic concept like "linkjuice".

If you are going to work in the SEO business you should learn about this really cool invention called a "search engine". You could go to a really popular "search engine" like Google. You will find it at a website called Google.com. You can just type in the term you want to learn about and it will return a list of pages that are about your search term.

Let me google that for you

    In case you're not kidding:confused:

The phrase was coined by Greg Boser

Link Juice is the term used for how much benefit a link passes on, as not all links are equal.

Backlinks are very important part of SEO( search engine optimization) process helping getting all your website pages indexed.

Well, there's other stuff such as page rank, etc.

    Hope that helps.

      Hi DianeBrandt,

I believe it was Greg Boser that coined the term "Link Juice" back in 2005.

Link juice is just how much Page Rank a given link passes to another page.

So if you link to your site from another site which has a PR of like 7...then that link is said to have a lot of "juice" to it.
