Question Regarding Satellite Blogs

I currently have 8 decently established sites; however, they are on the same IP hosting account.

I would like to develop a small network of micro niche blogs that I can monetize as well as provide link juice to my initial 8 sites.

My main question is, would I have to have each satellite blog on a different c-class IP in order to avoid any "devaluing" or potential red flags? (IE: would having 8 blogs from the same IP pointing to 8 websites on the same IP be a bad thing? Or is the fact the two IPs are different enough?)

Or would I have to have a separate IP for each satellite blog in order for this to be effective?

Thanks in advance..

SEO is a pretty heavily debated subject. We all have theories since Google doesn't even know all of its own algorithms.
So some would say it doesn't matter that all the backlinks come from one IP.
But the common answer is keep your backlinks on separate C-Class IPs.

It's kinda like keyword stuffing was in the past. It was a great way to get ranked.
But Google caught on, and will not like your site.
I think all your backlinks on the same IP is like "IP stuffing", and believe, if Google hasn't already, they'll hurt your website for it eventually.

If you really want to get ranked, make sure to create lots of highly relevant content.
Don't forget your tags, H1s,H2s, site structure, etc.

I have two listings on page 1 with 5.8M SERPS.
#5 has 1 or two backlinks and PR0. It took 1-2 months to get there.
#6 site has about 100 backlinks (only 10 found on Yahoo) with a PR 0 and took 1 month to get there.

On Page optimization is really overlooked. But if you get it really optimized AND you get quality, related backlinks - you should do pretty well.

    Good Luck!

In addition, create a random linking pattern.
