two questions about Google adword

Question#1
if some one offer a Google adword voucher and i am not expert in utilizing it or new to them, then is it safe to provide my google adword login pass info so the person can himself activate the google adword?
and then i pay by paypal. after activation of adword voucher and change my Google password.


Question#2
a friend of me is trapped in a trouble by using Google adword voucher.
he being a newbie like me bought a Google adword voucher of 75 us dollars.

and successfully redeemed it but it asks to enter credit card info, where he unaware of difference in postpaid and prepaid. selected the option of prepaid and entered his debit card number.

Google deducted 11.00 us dollars and still account is giving error. he asked his bank which confirms that Google deducted 12.00 dollars payment.

even wondering is that ..the adword account is not yet activated. and two days remaining in expiry of adword voucher.

will the voucher expire? and mean all 12.00 dollars deducted by google and money spent on buying the voucher.. will be lost.

please some experienced person reply .
