All,

Sorry, I am sure this has been asked a million times, but I am having problems finding it on here (please point me to the post that has it if it answers the question). I just submitted a site and site map to the big 3 yesterday so I am not looking for miracles. But I also submitted 2 others over a week ago and nothing has been indexed. IS there some free info on how to expedite this?

Any help would be appreciated

If you have already submitted them, then the only other thing you can do is wait. Continue to work on your website and Google will get around to indexing it.

Try getting some incoming links pointing at your website. Post to free blogger/wordpress blogs and ping google/yahoo that they have updated.

Oh one more question on the blog comments. I had been doing that. Does it matter if a blog is not very active? In other words a lot of the ones I post on either have a not so recent blog post or no comments...Is there a better way to find blogs that get hits?

Submit your website to Digg.com, submit it to PingOMatic.com, and create a Blogger.com blog and than submit the RSS feed from that blog to FeedAgg.com. Ensure your link to your website is in the Blogger.com blog. I have new websites live and ranking in Google in under 24 hours using these methods. I just did a webinar on Friday night and on Saturday I had someone that was on the call twittering about the ranking. It is in a competitive niche as well. I did this same thing when I presented live in Las Vegas. These methods work everytime. It just takes one backlink to get your website spidered. I no longer submit my website to the search engines. I let them find it through other links.

never sit and wait. Link build, create new content, resubmit as updates are made.
