Looking for webstatistic software

Hi

I'm looking for webstatistic software like Google Analytics, I cannot use Google Analytics because the site is not hosten on a public server. Instead it's hosted on a internal corporate server and all the visitors are coming from people inside the corporate organization.

So I've been asked to recommend a webstatistic software for them. They prefer microsoft technology, because the site they want to track is made in asp.net.

I've read about Webalizer and find it hard to recommend, because it requirs MySql and is little bit tricky to get up and running when they don't have MySql etc...

In addition I've read this article:

But I have trouble choosing any of them, because these alternatives requires the site to be a real site on the internet. The site I'm asked to find webstatistic software for does not exists on a public server on the internet (But the application have access to internet). It's a site poorly used internally at the company.

    what you are looking for is an ANALYTICS solution that you can host yourself.

    i'd suggest PIWIK. it's open source and runs using PHP / MySQL on your own servers.

      Thanks for the recommendation, I will consider it. So far it's the only solution I can see. The downside is that it's based on PHP/MySQL. Not sure the company agree with running PHP/MySql on their server. But I will recommend it.

      An alternative is to use Webalizer, but prefer an application like Piwik because of the GUI.
