Facebook Ads being DECLINED

Hello Guys

I am new to the forum and would like to see if anyone is or has experienced the same thing I have recently. I have successfully place several (6) champagnes with FB with an occaisonal Ad being declines. But over the last week I have had approx 30 Ads in a row get declined. I feel that I am well with in the guidelines and had done a lot of testing to narrow the reason for the rejection with no success. I am promoting a Network Marketing System as you can probably figure out in 2 sec. but even as of yesterday I removed the link to the landing page and have it going to my FB fan page with no link there and no opt-in... just content.

Any help would be appreciated.

Mike H.

Maybe you can't sell alcohol....just kidding...

You are probably breaking a whole gaggle of TOS of facebook ads.
Have a gander at the TOS Advertising Guidelines | Facebook

Network marketing and FB guidelines are not exactly compatible.
The whole concept, rightly or wrongly, probably tosses up a red flag.
The biggest one is this little gem:

    Get rich quick and other money making opportunities that offer compensation for little or no investment, including "work from home" opportunities positioned as alternatives to part-time or full-time employment or promises of monetary gain with no strings attached;

Indeed, facebook is really hesitant about these kind of ads. They don't want to become the next MySpace filled with spam, so the current account managers are really picky.

However, if you said your budget is $100k, they might reconsider

Thanks Guys ... Yes #5 in their guidelines is what I am getting hammered on, but I have fine tuned the ad now and even removed the link just to see and it still gets regeted. But that can only be because of my headline - "Attn: Network Marketers"

One other thing to consider is your grammar and bad spellings. I spotted two poor spellings in your current post here at the forum You wrote these "and it still gets regeted" and "successfully place several (6) champagnes with FB". The word 'regeted' is wrong. The correct spelling is 'rejected'. The word 'champagnes' is also wrong. The correct spelling is 'campaign'. Pay attention to your spellings because facebook is very strict about that type of mistakes. I make these mistakes myself.

Network marketing is a very good niche, far better that Affiliate marketing. In my brand new blog, I wrote several blog posts about it and you are welcome to post a comment to my latest post, it will earn you a link and maybe more. Here is the link to the blog post I made: Network Marketing: Why I Regret Recruiting Friends And Family | Self-Employment

I wish you well and the best of luck.

    My first thought too!

We'd like to help but without any specifics, kind of hard. As suggested, read their TOS. The question is, why were the ads declined? If you keep resubmitting the same kind of ad, they'll keep being rejected so stop doing it. Fix the problem. Maybe you can show a few of the ads that were rejected.

Showing the ads will help us understand better. But in the absence of that, since its clear its probably the heading they're still complaining about, try changing it to 'attn: Internet Marketers' or 'attn:Online Marketers' and see what happens?

You can then be sure of what the problem is.

I also had my ad declined some weeks ago. funniest part though is that the same ad had been originally approved when I first put it up the day before. When I changed from CPM to CPC the next day (after thousands of impressions) and very few clicks, the ad got declined ;-). The VERY SAME ame ad!

Like it or not, we have allowed scammers and spammers to define the online
marketing world. Like trying to put toothpaste back in a tube. At this point,
I'd steer clear of anything and everything that even smells like online marketing
        with facebook.

If you are serious about using FB ads, you have got to find some way around it.
        But it looks rather tough.

I just looked at a lot of big name IMers on facebook. No IM or related ads are
appearing. Looks like they really cleaned house. But then, as they get bigger and
become the 800 pound gorilla, it is their right.

I must be in the Twilight Zone. All advice here has been to steer clear of
      anything related to Network Marketers.....(?)

Go in peace. I wish you well.

I'm looking to get into FB ads as well. Anyone know if you can use affiliate links or do you have to buy a domain name then redirect it to the affiliate page?

I definitely don't think that they let you use direct links.
