How to find what Google page I'm on?

I'd like to find what page I show up on for specific keywords without having to search the keyword then scroll thru Google pages until I see my site. When I'm on the first few pages it's easy enough, but I'd like to know about keywords that might be on page 50. What's the secret?

I tried the Google Position Tool. Thanks.
I also found a few others. They're returning greatly differing results than I get when I just put my keywords in Google and search. Also even more divergence if I use http://www than if I just use http://
What's the key to getting the most accurate results?

If you sign up for google webmaster tools you can tell google whether to use www.domain.com or just domain.com. That should fix any differences in the 2 different searches.

        https://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/home?hl=en

Go there and you will have to add both versions of the site and verify them then you can go to either of the domains and under site configuration you should see settings and in there is where you tell it which one to use.

I would also recommend modifying any backlinks you can to point to which ever you choose so its consistent with other search engines who don't have this feature.

Market Samurai amongst many things has a rank tracker and checks as far as 1000 positions. It then gives you a link to take you to that page. Pretty cool. I've not used google position tool but I'm going to check it out now.

Which browser are you using? I check my rank by using Chrome's incognito browser so that Google doesn't use my profile when searching. (I go to my site a lot, so Google ranks it higher for me.)

Other browsers have private browsing, both Internet explorer and Firefox do. Use it, search for your keyword, and then go to "Advanced Search" and change the settings to show 100 results at once. That speeds things up quite a bit.

Then instead of scrolling through the pages, hit control+f on your keyboard. That'll bring up the "Find" prompt. Type in your domain name and hit enter on each page of search results. It'll tell you if it appears on the page. If it's not there, go to the next results page - no scrolling

I've watched my blog CopywritingDean.com move from 450 or so to about 40 this way.

    Cheers,

  • I use SEOBook toolbar for Firefox mainly but I have the free traffic travis and I use that once it gets into the top ten and also to evaluate the competition for specific keywords.

    Hi

Google its self set to 100 is the most accurate.

Market samuri is the best all round tool which lets you track many keyword to either or both www and non www but as somebody said you should go fix that in google webmaster tools anyway.

The Google position tool also works just fine

Its in beta so there maybe buglets I found i had to put in

    http://

before the domain name for the tool to work

    regards

I use Scroogle as it does not use any cookies/cache that can affect your real position. I did not realise Google did this until a few months ago and wondered why I was #1 with no traffic
