One of the only extensions left for my keyword is .cm

I was wondering if google will rank this extension with the right seo techniques for australia and US search resaults?

Cheers

Never tried it but I would stick with a .com .org or .net

If the keyword you want isn't available then I would either add a word to the end of your keyword or find a new keyword.

Don't use a .cm. .com, or .net or .co.uk are the best ones. maybe .org too.

It looks like you are assuming you have to use a particular keyword phrase, with no words before and after it?

You can add other words as long as it contains your keyword, you are ok. Also don't make it too long

Just add an extra couple of letters to the end of the domain. So if your keyword is back scratcher make it backscratchershq.com or backscratcherspot.com.

In the end it won't matter. Good on-page and enough good backlinks will rank any website...no matter the domain name.
