Can someone explain the site guidelines for Adwords to me? I've had soem people tell me you can use affiliate url's (IE- affiliateprogram.com), others says that you can use affiliate urls but only in certain formats, others say that you can only use direct urls like http://www.mysite.com or http://www.mysite.com/infopage and that it has to eb your own site.

DO you mean that if you are an affiliate for say companyx then you're asking if you can use the URL www.companyx.com?

If that's the question, then that's called direct linking and you'll get slapped pretty quickly by Google.

If that's not the question, give a bit more info so I can help.

    Cheers,
    Frank

Yeah.. basically I want to know if you want to promote an affiliate product (clickbank or some other affiliate networks product) I assume you have to promote it on your very own website/url and get them to click over to the affiliate product though I've had people say you have to directly promote only your own products and such as well.

Basically.. what types of promotion of websites/products does adsense allow?
