Hi all,

I've been a member here for awhile, but have spent some time playing around and deciding what works best for me. I've ended up deciding that niche sites/blogs are what I'd like to make a real go of.

I've made about 6 niche blogs (some unique content, some spun plr), and am now ready to take them to the next level.

So, if you've read this far, what's the best backlink/promotional/seo tool you've used for niche site promotion? I have good writing skills (have also invested in the best spinner), but minimum time. I can only afford one right now and don't have a clue which it should be ...help! .

Well, to help with SEO on a blog in general, the All in One SEO plugin is essential. Also, I usually change the permalinks to just include my domain + name of blog post. On page SEO optimization is equally as important as off page SEO if you want to rank high for your keywords. The better your on page SEO, the better results you'll receive from your off page tactics.

For promotional tactics and building backlinks, there's the usual - article marketing, video marketing, press releases, forum links and my personal favorite, blog commenting. You can do all of this yourself or if you don't have the time, you always have the option to outsource the work to allow you to focus on more niche blogs or focus on building up the ones you already have with more content.

I am new to this too, only 2 months in and 2 niche sites, spent most of my time learning so far but just starting on linkbuilding.

I was wondering about mass directories submissions, purely for extra backlinks to boost site a little. I won't do it with articles, prefer manual to top 10-20 sites. I also do RSS submits and bookmarking, But I use auto submit tool and then then submit manually to some of the top sites on top of that. I am hoping this combination will help boost site and get seen by google as an authority site with the high pr links coming in as well.

Thank you both for the quick replies . bhuff, I've got the on-page stuff OK (my 'day job' is as a web dev), and so what I'm mostly looking for is a tool to automate and/or multiply my efforts with the backlinking and promotion of the sites. I've got good tech skills and a bit of cash, but with working full time and two small children, pretty time poor. I've been reading about UAW, senuke, 3 ways links etc, but not sure which way to go, or something else entirely I haven't heard of before.

If you have some cash definitely invest in UAW. It's probabaly the best article marketing automation tool out there.

Another thing you might want to try is press releases. You just submit to a few main PR sites and if your PR is quality it will probably get syndicated and that will bring you some serious backlinks without much effort.
