Hey warriors,

I came across this amazing keyword tool that makes keyword research much more easy.

The site is

Keyword Eye : Visual Keyword Suggestion Tool PPC, SEO, Niche Finder

(Not my site, not an affiliate link)

Just enter your keyword and watch the tool churn out hundreds of keywords that are color coded as green, orange or red depending on competition. You can straightaway locate low competition keywords as they are in green color.

Make sure you use the "Advanced Search" after you have searched for a keyword and choose the match type, country, number of results to display, search volume, negative keywords. The tool also allows you to download results in CSV, Text, Excel format. A google chrome extension is available that allows you to use it right from Chrome browser.

Hope you guys like it. Happy keyword researching.

Glad you guys liked it.. Its amazing how a little visual representation can make the research fun & fast.

Make sure you change the country to United States (or a country of your choice) after you have performed a search. By default the tool brings data for UK. There doesn't seem to be a way to change the country from home page.

One more thing, make sure you verify the search numbers by logging into your Adwords account as well. Enjoy

    Regards,

Well that's true. If you already have experience in using Market Samurai or any other keyword tool then this tool won't help you at all. But I'm sure it will be of help to people who are struggling with Keyword Research.

Anyway its not my tool so I am not going to justify its existence. If you like it, use it

Well, it refines the searches quite fast and has multiple filtering options. Not only is it fast, but it's web based so you can access it from any computer with an internet connection. Oh and not to mention, it's free.

Another advantage that I see here is that the Google Keyword tool now gives you only 100 keywords whereas with this tool you can get upto 800 keywords.

After clicking on the advanced options button a screen will pop up. There's a country drop down option. Click on that, then click on United States.

This option isn't on home page.. It comes after you have searched for a term. Or you can try in Firefox or Chrome as Craig has suggested.

Thanks, this tool is good for coming up with new keyword ideas. The only thing I don't understand is how they calculate how competitive a keyword is. For example, I was just browsing around and found that this site calls "acne" and "lose weight" *medium* competition keywords. So I wouldn't take that part of the data too seriously. But it's great to have all those words in front of you like that

        Hi Anup

Thanks for promoting Keyword Eye on here - really appreciated!

I've now added a 'add all keywords' function - this can be found underneath the keyword cloud. It will add all keywords to the selected keywords text area.

I've taken feedback of the comments on here on board and will do my best to incorporate these in future updates... along with some cool new features and visualizations.

If you or anyone else on here has any further feedback or questions please don't hesitate to contact me directly on Twitter or by email - contact at keywordeye.co.uk

The keyword results come from Google via their API. Google assigns a competitive score on each keyword from 0 to 1. The tool assigns a colour to a keyword based on this score - for example if a keyword competitive score was 0.1 it would have a low status and be coloured green. I believe the competitive score is mainly based on PPC data.

          Hope this helps.
