Hi, I am just starting to try building profile links, do I need to be using a proxy?

If so, are there good free ones? Are free ones safe to use?

To use them do I just change the connection settings in firefox, or is there some program I need?

thanks

Any reason you can't just build links using methods that don't spam sites? For example, maybe you could actually participate in some useful conversations?

It is okay to contact me! I have been developing software since 1999, creating many popular products like phpLD.

Probably not. If you are posting links to several different sites and only creating one account per site then you don't need to worry about proxies because each site is independent of all the others. Its very unlikely that they (the site owners) would be able to tell, or even care that you have been posting the same links on other sites.

There is one main reason... It takes way too much time to see results...

Nice thread hijack. Why don't you go back to your own little cave and don't answer a question if you have absolutely nothing relevant to say to the OP.

When someone starts a thread like "How many links can I put in an Ezinearticles article?", i'll just reply "EZA sucks." instead of trying to answer the OP's question.

It depends. I prefer to just use proxies 24/7 for all of my online activity. I really don't hackers, Google, or anyone else for that matter to be able to reverse IP me.

But, for profile linking, you might get IP blocked on a few sites after awhile, but it should be a relatively small percentage.

One option is to use something like http://www.privateproxysoftware.com, which costs $10/month and automatically rotates out your IP every 30 minutes.
