Is this a good idea?

So far the only money i made was from being a e-whore and promoting adult friend finder i really didn't like doing that but with the money i made from that i bought micro niche finder and x-factors e-book which put me on the path that i'm on now. Ok so hears my idea to make money basically build a authority site with keywords that have low comp but also get good amount of search. I understand that building a authority site takes a long time but i rather build 1 big site that makes good money rather than making many micro sites. My question is this, is this a good idea? i mean so far i have build a site, well blog with 25 pages of content and my plan is to build backlinks to each individual page to get it ranking high in the serps so hopefully each page will make me some money and hopefully all the pages combined will add up to enough money to work from home.

all keywords are low comp, with searches volume from 1,000 to 5,000 with green light from micro niche finder.

so would 25 pages of content that are seo friendly bring me all these searches to my site?, my only other comp is micro niche sites so i figure one big site with good content and quality backlinks should beat them rite?

adsense will be my main money maker combined with couple clickbank products.
