Hi Warriors,

I have an ecom client and he sells tons of products and I am wondering what is the best approach, to getting his product pages ranked. If you could please, share some proven strategies, it would be highly appreciated.

    1. Find out if the eCom platform has some sort of SEO plugin or built in functionality. Basically what you're looking for is Search Engine Friendly URL's (ex. /dogs/labs.html vs. page.htm=1532gdadad32). You also want to make sure each product page has unique META/Title tags
    2. Next, if you have a decent amount of SKU's and are competitively priced, definitely use Google Base. Most eCom platforms have ways to have XML feeds, and that's what you can use to load into Google Base. The products will be syndicated across G's network, giving you great exposure.
    3. For pure SEO, you need to do a bit of heavy lifting and figure out what category/product has decent search volume and isn't as competitive. Target all your link building to individual product pages, or category pages, not to your home page starting off. If you're dealing in product lines with tons of other vendors/resellers, take the next step and go longer tail and think of 'buying' keywords to tack on...(ex. dog pillow review, dog pillow prices, dog pillow discounts, etc)
    4. Include SKU's in your title tags (if it's any type of device/physical good). People search for sku's when doing comparison shopping and we have generated a lot of organic traffic from SKU's for our clients

    Hopefully that's a good start.

Regarding SEO' concerns for this i will do some search for targeted keywords for the items or brands specifically, then focus I'll focus on off page optimization landing on a particular site of the product.

        Hi there,

I wrote a blog post on my new blog, about this exact problem. The tips helped many marketers get their sites ranked quickly.

It worked for me as a charm on over 200 sites ( small and large ).

The step by step instructions ( easy as can be & will not take more than 5 minutes ) are described on "The Blab of Buyseech" <- my blog ( see signature for the link ).

Would appreciate comments if it worked for you.

        Sincerely, Buyseech

P.s.: The fastest time I got my site indexed was in 12 minutes ( new site, new domain, new hosting ). On avg it takes 30-40 minutes.

the dynamic sites are not easily get indexed by Google as because the different URLs queries for products make infinite URLs with some extra character, so if Google starts optimization it it will be in tarp and hence Google put bad impression on dynamically driven web sites. please do URL rewrite, alt image for products, cgi/Perl scripts and try to optimize

First you can use on-page optimization , because its make your websites in good structure and navigation, then build the quality back links to your websites by using link building technology. mostly you can post on forums, blog comments, blog creation and documents submit. it can help to increase back links and you can get good ranking in major search engines.
