    Your site? Install Google Analytics (or a similar traffic tracking platform. The statpress reloaded plugin for wordpress for example).
    Competitors site, you are gonna have to dig around a little and the best you can do is to estimate the traffic based on search engine rankings as well as many other factors (direct traffic, referral sites, etc)
