Is it ok if the article on my blog is exactly the same as the articles that i send to Ezine?

Please note that my key words on Ezine will also be pointing to the same article that is on my blog

It is definitely ok. however since Ezine has probabaly more authority than your website, your Ezine article will rank higher than your article on your own website.

So it does not count as a duplicate content? How about publishing the same article in various article directories? That's wrong right?

It will be duplicate content but if your question is related to duplicate content penalty. Well that is just a myth.

When you have the exact same content published on different urls Google will sort them out and publishes the content on the site that has the highest authority. For instance if you publsih your article on your brand new site, Ezinearticles and Goarticles. Chances are google will return Ezine articles first, Goarticles second and your site third in the results (It is not an exact science. This is just an example).

Its not ok and this thing surely not going to get good results in SERP for your blog.. After submitting your article to ezine.. Its will be no longer unique.. In order to get rank well in google submit unique articles to your blog..

There's very, very widespread misunderstanding about this point, mostly propagated by people not understanding the difference between duplicate content and syndicated content. It's all explained, discussed and clarified in the incidental conversations in this thread, which will clear it up once and for all, for those willing to read it.

Yes, it's absolutely fine. But don't submit it to EZA and then publish it on your own blog: in the long run, the other way round - getting it indexed on your own site first - is a far better proposition, as you can see explained in great detail in the thread linked to above.

Thanks for the help, I have a different question.
Say I don't publish an article in my site, I promote something there and all I want is more the backlinks. So I publish an article that will lead to my site for further info on EZ article.
Now, publishing the same exact article to other article directories will be fine? No Google penalty here? This saves years of time and effort.

Don't point to the exact same article on your blog. Point to your home page or a different article on your blog. If I read your article at EZA and am interested enough to click through, I'm going to leave in 1 second flat if it's the SAME thing I just read.

Thank you Alexa much appreciated. Will it further help if i created a URL using the key words i want to rank high with?

        For example:
My website address is: w ww.abruzzo-villas.com
My Keyword/Anchor text is: abruzzo holidays
        URL created is: h ttp://abruzzo-villas.com/2010/10/abruzzo-holidays/

...or should i just simply link my key words Abruzzo Holidays (and all other future keywords) to my Home page w ww.abruzzo-villas.com?
