Do I get indexed my profile backlinks with nofollow bookmarking?

Hello,


I'm working with profile backlinks and when I'm entering profile link in google search I see that many of them are not indexed, google cannot find them, so it means google don't know about them, and they are not indexed and counted as a backlinks to my site. I heard that one of the ways, or maybe its the best way, how to get indexed them, is a bookmarking.

The question is, do I have to bookmark these profile pages with dofollow bookmarking sites? Or it will be also indexed if I'll bookmark it with nofollow bookmarking site? We all know if the link is placed in to the nofollow site, SE will not give any weight for this link, but will it be indexed and counted as backlink?

    Man That's a good question I want to say that you need dofollow sites but I could be wrong I am not a guru.

      Thanks for the reply biggame5, but seems nobody knows. I guess the best way would be if I bookmark them with one dofollow and with one nofollow bookmarking site, then I guess they should be indexed. Of course there is and other well working ways, but I heard that this method works well as well.

    Hello...all the links that are in the public domain are counted as backlinks.Others that are specifically in your profile could not be crawled by google and hence they can't be counted as backlinks. For example a link to your website in your youtube profile is in the public domain and is counted as a backlink while links which you post in your facebook through your profile are not counted as long as some other person does not put those links in the public domain.

    Google does follow nofollow links but it does not pass on the link value. So no follow links are useful for indexing purpose.
