Do You Think Adding NON-Keyword Targeted Unique Content Will Help For Amazon Site?

Okay here is the idea. I want to create Amazon affiliate website about toys. But pulling and slapping duplicate content from Amazon won't do anything special right? So i thought why not add to each product generic, non-keyword content like opinions, stories, thoughts not targetting keywords. I mean just something to feed Google.

Do you think that would help?

Do it well, and you'll develop a loyal audience. You'll set yourself apart and above, and you'll draw links and traffic from other sites in the niche. It's also a good way to take a bigger bite out of the long tail.

Besides, you never know what search phrase might bring a buyer. I've seen some funky searches in my stats, stuff I never would have thought of on my own, but get (with similar terms) a surprising amount of play.

Well i am planning on targeting only one keyword in content - product keyword. If product is about "barbie doll" then i willl target that keyword once and no other words.

You have a great idea. Imagine how much fun you could have writing about kids playing with the toys. You might even be able to produce a few simple videos of kids playing with the toys if you know any who have them.

Taking a creative twist will set you apart.

Toys seems a pretty broad niche. I've
not done any research but suspect
    'action figures', or 'model aircraft'
might both be tighter, easier to
write for, and would naturally build
    semantically related content.

I suppose one option might be to
build each topic as a sub domain,
but others here could advise you
better. I haven't tried the sub-
    domain approach,
