Mega Adsense Site Menu Question

Hi Guys

I recently made a decision to turn a mini health site into a mega site of 500 pages.

The last version of the site was based on the Xfactor Adsense template (although it has more than 30 pages).

Anyway it earn me a lot of money every day and I intend to turn it into a big payout site.

My question is simply about wether or not I should include a menu on the left hand side. One of the things about Xfactor that I got was that by removing the menu you kind of left the visitor with few options and increased the chance of them clicking an ad.

However having a site without a menu on makes me worry about the SEO element i.e. will Google index the site properly.

So to summarise I wonder if adding a mega menu will reduce my Adsense earnings pro rato, whereas having no menu will mean that I lose traffic on the search engines.

Anyone with any experience of growing this type of site ... your comments would be appreciated.

    For larger sites I use the menu but only the category headers are displayed and the multi-pages of content under that category are sub-pages and not displayed on the menu.

    I'm using xsp so if you are building a blog site that wouldn't apply (and probably would make no sense, either).
