This is going to sound like a noob question but I am desperately trying to learn how to incorporate promoting my clickbank products and getting the best out of PPC using analytics.

How can I track which keywords are converting best for me in analytics? Since the buy page goes to the clickbank site i can't obviously put the analytics code on that. Is there an easy way to do this?

You should look into Xtreme Conversions from Amir Darwish. It's an excellent program for tracking conversions from PPC campaigns (and any other form of traffic) through affiliate programs, especially Clickbank.

I am really not sure you can, unless the merchant installs a special code on their page. Maybe someone else can chime in here but I couldn't figure it out.

I don't use PPC but I was able to track where my sales came from by doing the following. I got an account at Statcounter. Everytime I get a Clickbank sale I make a note of the state and time. I then go into Statcounter and look at "Recent Visitor Activity". I scroll down to the specific time and match it up with the state. This will tell you where that particular visitor came from.

It is not 100% accurate but probably gives you the best idea of where your sales are coming from.

you can do many pages on your site and 1 keyword from yor PPC poin to different page. Then you can make the code to clickbank with TRACKING CODE in it.In that way you can see which page is making the sales and you know wich page for wich keyword is.
