Worried If I Change My Sales Page, Will Lose SEO Ranking

Hey, I have a quick question for you that hopefully you can answer.

Right now I'm planning on changing my long-form sales letter (that is apart of my Wordpress blog theme) to a video sales letter, without any text on the page (to a non-wordpress landing page).

I'm worried my Google ranking will significantly change and I will lose a lot of my traffic, since the page won't have all the keywords on it that it's optimized for and will be losing the Wordpress SEO benefits (I have a plugin for it).

So, if I switch my landing page/sales page to a video sales letter, will I lose my ranking in Google?

    If you do the right thing, changing to video does not necessarily mean you would lose seo ranking. The search engines do not crawl video content. What they crawl is the title and description of the video. Therefore, you should make your video sales letter contain the title and description you are currently using for your text sales letter.

    It is not really easy ranking with a video if you don't do some off-page optimization. Try to build backlinks to your videos sales letter in order to maintain that ranking in the search engines.
