    I'm writing for Textbroker now. I've found that it's been a good experience. I'm not making anything to speak of, but the experience is well worth it.

    I've used them quite a few times. Yes they're good as you can choose the quality of the article writer you want from 2 star to 5 star writer. Obviously the 5 star articles will be more than the 2 star. Personally, I usually go with 4 star and the quality is quite good.

    I've worked both side of the fence at TextBroker, as a writer and as someone purchasing content from other writers. It's a decent place to make money if you like writing content for other people and can do it fairly quickly. As far as buying from them, I've also found it to be pretty good. It's important to proof read what you get though. Depending on the quality level that you select, there's always a possibility that some modifications will need to be done to the articles that you receive.

    Are you asking from a writer's perspective or a hiring person?

    For writers, there's a lot of competition, so you may not get a gig if you're not top 5%. Pay is competitive also. Unless you're a top-notch writer, don't expect too much pay.

    For hiring people, there are many writers to choose from. Writers there claim to be experts in many fields, so even if you run a search for niche-specific writers, you'll get a listing of a few hundred. I personally don't want to spend days or weeks finding a writer, especially if you have no idea who really specializes in your niche.
