Any good ideas?
My website is **************.com
and the key word is in the title. And I have the dot com domain...so I think that this would be the easiest one to get on the first page.

But right now it is on the third page.

So if any of you have any great advice...I would be reall thankful.

Have you checked out what the competition is offering on that keyword?

If you have a program like Market Samurai, do a competition analysis to find out how many backlinks your competition have built up over time.

If you don't, use an SEO plugin for your browser. I like this one for Chrome:

      https://chrome.google.com/extensions...pjdeomopbpkjjc

Also check that your page title and H1 tags contain your keyword.

If you are an exact match for your keyword, you will need considerably less backlinks to rank than your competition that doesn't, but you will probably still need about a quarter or so of what the competition has.

You should have your keyword in h1 h2 and (optionally) h3. Relevant outbound links. Links on your home page to other pages on your site - inbound links. Hope this helps, did for me.

You should build backlinks, this will help you a lot. Look what number of backlinks have the first sites, and try to beat them!

    Just start building more backlinks.

Directories, social bookmarking, forum and blog commenting and article submission.

If you do all this and you're still nowhere near the top of the rankings a few months later, you're probably in a niche that's simply too competitive.
