The Importance of Internal Linking

Okay not going to try and talk about this like I am sort of authority ... in fact I would suggest that until recently I have neglected a lot of SEO and am just getting up to speed!

How honest is that?

I do want to share with you some success I am having as a result of internal linking.

Anyway in the last few weeks I have been working at my on-site SEO and as a result have really worked at internal linking on specific words within content on my different pages.

I have noticed that the sites involved have had an increase in the number of unique hits of about 12 -18% per day, furthermore they both seem to be getting hits from a lot more countries and I am ranking better for certain keywords

Do not fully understand why but wanted to share this to see if anyone has any good understanding of what is happening and so that anyone who has not done this addresses it.

    Internal linking is one of the most important on page SEO factors. Just look at Wikipedia and how they use internal linking to get top rankings for thousands of keywords.
