Is this a good way to promote inner pages? How are you promoting yours?

Does doing multiple blasts with mass article submission software for multiple pages on a single site have diminishing returns?

For example. I have a site called maindomain.com. If I do a full mass article submission run linking back to maindomain.com (with a spun article). Then I do full mass article submission runs for each of my internal pages(maindomain.com/page1, maindomain.com/page2, etc) to the same directories, with unique spun articles, Will I still see significant backlinks and boost to those internal pages? I recall reading somewhere that having backlinks from the same sites, becomes less beneficial after the first submission run. What if I have 10 internal pages?

Interested to know what others have to say about this. What's been your experience?

I have a thin affiliate site that has been making decent money with just a review on the front page. I figure I would keep adding new, related SEO articles every week and build it out to 100 pages or so. Just wondering what the best way might be to promote those inner pages, or is it that those pages will automatically rank wekk as I build authority to the main domain?

Thanks,
Steve

The method you are describing will be increasing your backlink count and possibly your ranking s depending on your niche and term that your targeting but in my opinion and experience getting the same backlinks as your homepage to all your inner pages as well won't help you a great deal.

Where the importance of link building used to rest on quantity and quality of your back links Google are starting to pay a lot more attention to the diversity of your backlinks, meaning the more different domains / ips that link to you the better.

My guess would be that you get all the benefits of blasting your homepage with these links but your inner pages blasted with the same links will recieve a much smaller percentage of the juice.

    Hope that helps

Thanks for responding Danny. Whats a good way to get links to my inner pages without breaking the budget? How would you go about it if you had 40-50 inner pages?

A site with 40/50 inner pages will take time to sufficiently backlink all pages so I would use a variety of methods to do so. I would concentrate mostly on high PR (at least PR2) page backlinks so that you don't need to create as many. I would then go out and build links in the following ways:
      • Blog Comment Backlinks
      • Web 2.0 Backlinks
      • Profile Links
      • Forum Thread Links
I would also do a bit of article marketing, but the above methods would be the best investment of your time to get the number of links you require for that amount of pages.

Of course, the competition of your keywords plays a large role in determining how many links you will need.

      Cheers,
      Dave
