Link wheel

It's basically what it sounds like, pretty simple in the end. You have a number of sites/web 2.0 components, etc. Each one links to your main/money site, plus one of the other sites/components, in sequence. Like this: site1->site2->site3->site4->site1; while all link to main site as well. If you visualize it, the link wheel sites form a circle, and the links from them to your money site form the spokes, hence the linkwheel moniker. These days it's a good idea not to close the wheel (don't link site4 back to site1) so as not to make it easily identifiable. I guess Google has begun identifying these better as of late.

I want to know whether we can use same content for all web 2.0 components. I think Search engine will never spam the components while using same contents for all components because we giving external links for all components

I doubt about using the same content for most of pages which are included on link wheel. Google will not penalize you but its possible that you don't get the result you wish from your link wheeling by having duplicate content for your link wheel pages.

In link wheel,we do not create direct link to our website. We create a squidoo lens and points all article posting, blog posting link to this lens and after that we points to the website from this lens.

Thanks for this diagram.It speaks louder than any wordly explanation.There are so many options and possibilities with using a linkwheel and again,you are in control of your backlinks.To me,the best way to get backlinks.

Its about creating backlinks in tiers. Tier 1 links to your main site, Tier 2 links to Tier sites, Tier 3 links to Tier 1 and Tier 2 sites. You can take it to any level.There are all sorts of weird linkwheel structures. With linkwheels the possibilities are endless.

Good examples. But I heard that link wheels are not effective anymore. Is this true? If so how could I make a effective LinkWheel and what is the difference between a non effective link wheel and a effective one?
