Adding already written articles to my site?

I'm sort of having a brain fart here. I wrote a boatload of articles for sites like EZA back in the day, placing them on EZA before my own website. Well, I've been cranking out unique content for one of my sites and placing it on the site THEN submitting to AD's.

Anyway, I'm just looking to beef up one of my sites in a shorter amount of time and add some more page depth to it, so I was looking at adding 5 to 10 of my already written articles from EZA to my site. May change the title a bit, but other than that, I don't plan on changing anything else.

Waste of time or beneficial to do this? What's your take?

By adding stuff that's already been indexed on EZA, you run the risk of your site ending up in the supplemental index. If I were you, I would rewrite the articles before publishing them on your own site.

And, by changing the articles, you can get another big benefit. If someone reads your article on EZA and likes it enough to visit your site, you don't want them to see the same exact article on there. If they don't see something new, visitors don't really have a reason to stick around. But, if you give them something they haven't seen before, they're far more inclined to look around and see what else you have to offer.

Your articles probably won't rank high in Google. On the other hand, it is beneficial if you are promoting in forum and blogs. Also, it might be a good start to put a few of these articles, but you should keep putting up new unique articles to get traffic from Google.
