Article Directories No Follow Links?

Hi:
I am obviously a new guy or I wouldn't be asking this.
I have a number of articles published in E-zine and I wanted to get more exposure for my site link as well as a link in general for Google to rank my site. So I found a site named
"FREE Virtual Real Estate Toolbar:
Over 100 Niche Content Website Tools At Your Fingertips!"
There is a category named "NO Follow" and under this some of them show a "NF" signifiying that a NO Follow tag is in the Author Resource box.
Should I skip those so marked?
