Hello Friends,

As we all know that SEO is slow and continuous process and it takes time to achieve the results. But as per client perceptive he will definitely ask the question that, "I have paid the money so show me the results?"

Every one wants to rank on first position in Search Engine. Though it is possible but it takes time and need some patience (specially from client side). So till the time we do not achieve the goal how can we assure the client that the SEO is proceeding in the right direction.

Reporting is the way to explain the client but what all should be included in Reports is my question?

Also some time there is no much difference in two reports or some time results are down. So at that time how to convince the client?

I think your reports need to contain:

1.- Onsite optimization (when you did it, what you did)

    2.- Index dates.

    3.- Backlinks.

    4.- Position.

    5.- Traffic/Source.

The most important part is the client to understand this is a process that takes time and you will be getting the results with the number of back links you are creating, just show him/her that little by little you are adding more back links and obviously he/she will see the increase on the traffic

I think our dearest clients don't understand on how we do it the only thing that they know is you must rank their site in the first page without knowing of what's the process will be executed and how long it will takes they must know it and try to explain what SEO really stands for.
