Changed Content & Dropped From Rankings... For 6 DAYS?! Anyone have this happen?

I've had the Google dance happen before but with this competititive niche, penis enlargement, I'm wondering if my changing the layout of the site did somethign terribly wrong. The keyword density is roughly the same, there is more content now, and the front page is a blog rather than a static page as before (though I plan on leaving it static now that all of my posts are up).

The site is still indexed, but hasn't been seen in the top 1,000 results for 4 days now despite ranking #7 for a big keyword previous to the changes...

Should I freak out? This seems a little long for the dance and I hate to think that my new content (which I love) won't rank. : /

    One possible reason maybe google is readjusting your site. How long will it take? Only google and god who know.

      guys anytime u add new content it may happen... its not bad... its just changed it is better in the long run but u do go down for a bit... u may not just bounce back but google will respect u more

    A lot of people are experiencing ranking changes. One of my sites went from #4 to 400 and it was stuck there for 10 days at least. Sometimes it goes back to page 1 but will disappear again. Now my 2nd site is under the exact same spell, I've just lost rankings for all my keywords and it has yet to come back. Whatever it is, I surely hope it isn't permanent.

    I have had this happen too. I opened a new site, and after 7 days I was on page 4 of my main key words, then 2 days later I was on page 3, another 2 days later I was on page 2 and then about a week later page 1. Then I added a tonne of content and dropped to page 4 all of a sudden... I thought maybe it have to do with instant?
